Future study "Delphi2017 – What Makes Tomorrow Tick" predicts a change of values in Germany
“Less I – more we“ – this is one of the new basic orientations that will change the social values in Germany in the long term. This new sense of community is a central finding of the study “Delphi2017 – What Makes Tomorrow Tick“ conducted by GIM, Heidelberg.
The study identifies five relevant basic orientations that, in future, will predominate life areas such as health, education, work, family and consumption:
1. Managing "Dutility": Functioning in the System
2. Living Substance: Back to the Essential
3. Embedding Individuality: Less I – more We
4. Creating "Lifeholder Value": Arranging and Participating
5. Engaging in a Sane Society: Sustainability and Social Responsibility
|
Each of these five new basic orientations means new challenges for enterprises and their brands. The GIM researchers Dr. Kerstin Ullrich and Dr. Christian Wenger recommend companies to react early because, more than ever, the consumers expect brands to be useful and to have an ulterior purpose at the same time. New Release: The book about the study is out now – entitled ‘Vision 2017 – Was Menschen morgen bewegt’. You may purchase it at any bookstore or order it at Redline Wirtschaft Verlag. |
